Eighteen square metres. Three single beds with new mattresses, each with its own socket. A wardrobe that closes. A full bathroom with a tiled walk-in shower, not a plastic cubicle. Towels with some weight to them.
There is no television. There was one for a month and nobody switched it on.
A window onto Calle Doctor Sapena. Real shutters. By eleven at night the street is asleep.
